L.C.I. staff goes to Nami Island

this past saturday was parents day, also mother's day in the us of a (love you mom). our director, Shin, took the foreign and korean staff on an outing from early friday evening to early saturday evening. She rented us a beautiful summer home for the night, where we cooked an authentic korean bar-b-q outside on a veranda and all around we mixed the party styles of korean and american. there was beer (shot gunning), soju (shots, bottle drinkers and mixers) and eight bottles of 2 types of wine... premium steak, pork and all sorts of sausage hot dogs. we found the tables loaded with delish salads, sauces and dips for our bbq wraps along with a stunning combination of cracker, american cheese, cream cheese and strawberries for dessert, thanks to cara!

let the preparations begin

brenda starts off the night, shot gunning a max

the meat went on the grill as soon as the beers cracked open

a toast was made... to being awesome

with lots of wine dedicated to our school

a view of one of the spreads

making amazing kimchi soup

yummy yummy, sarah steals some

posing!

finally it gets chilly enough for us all to take the party indoors

besides circle time, where we talked about how we were doing so far, the foreign staff performed a choreographed dance (from a previous holiday), and for some reason we ended up making a human pyramid?

Shortly after we began a sliding contest from the living room through the kitchen...

david owns with a full on belly slide

So shortly after our sliding extravaganza things got a little confusing.... we might have tried trust falls, headstands, yoga and even some weird paper game.

And then the morning came to greet us......

Our Naminarian induction was complete, now on to Nami... the actual island
