nami, the island

after our nighttime shinnanigans we all woke up and headed over to nami island on a ferry which 'initself' prentends to be something out of neverland next to a shambly looking bungee-jump (yikes!!!). Nami-do, (if you can even really call it an island) which actually pretends it's a country on its own, similar to disney and their epcot. they had art things, lots of cool biking type things to do, beautiful grounds to walk on and enjoy, and an ostrich running loose and tamed

we took a ferry

sky bikes!!!

just another way to heat your tea water

so many trees.. it was beautiful

this sculpture...

and finally just as we are about to meet the whole group, we find the ostrich. just outside the music museum... what a delight! i was so thrilled and scared at the same time... these pictures were about as close as I could get, some kids were grabbing it... no can do sir, that animal is to close to a dinosaur for my taste.

waaaahhhh!!!

trying to eat my camera

overall it was a really relaxing weekend, not much sleep friday night, nor was it restful, but fun none-the-less. after the island our director took us out for one last vacation meal at a chicken restaurant, we had great view of people bungee jumping nearby, which served us well for entertainment, as did cooking the food in front of us...

so we got back around 5:30ish i think, and the dj festival was that evening, and I had all intentions of walking/ riding bike down the river to listen to it, but i ended up falling asleep till the next morning... haha
